 Activity Report of 2009-2010 Every Year we conduct 3 national championships for boys and girls :-
Besides this from 2008 we introduced many events to give impetus to the game by giving more opportunities to play. For ease of conduct India was divided India into East Zone, West Zone, South Zone and North Zone. The state level championships are followed by Zonal championships. In zonal championship all related states of that particular zone will select one men and one women's team. The zonal teams will take part in the all India inter-zone championship. Year 2008 onwards Federation Cup Tournament was introduced in which the quarter finalist teams (8 top teams from men and women section) of last senior national championship was eligible to participate. The detail information of our calendar for the year 2008-09, the event which was completed is as follows. Year 2009-10:
2nd West Zone Softball Championship (Men and women) was organized at Allahabad (U.P.) From 18th Jan. to 20th Jan 2010. and the Participation of State teams were -Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Indian Oil Corporation. 3rd South Zone Softball Championship (Men and Women) was organised at Trivandrum (Kerala) From 27th Dec to 29th Dec 2009, and the teams Participated were (State teams) - Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Pondicherry, Kerala, Tamilnadu. 1st Federation Cup Tournament was organized in May, 2009 at Indore(M.P.) The Indian Junior Girls Team took part in the 4th Junior Girls Asian Softball Championship at Kulalalumpur from 13th to 16th Dec. 2009 Future planning - This year we are on foot to organize little league tournament for the kids (under 10 and under 12 age group) for boys and girls both.also We have also planned to start zonal championships in junior age group to encourage the youth. 1st East Zone Softball Championship (Men and Women) has been organized From 10th May to 12 th May 2009,at Imphal (Manipur) total State units were Participated --Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Orissa, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Meghalaya.
